  • Can I use the Neeo Remote with my own USB power supply?

            The Neeo charging dock should be used with only the included power supply. Using a different power supply is not                 covered by warranty and may damage the remote or cause it not to charge properly.

  • When setting up the Neeo Remote, why doesn't my 5 GHz Wi-Fi network show on the list?

The remote supports only 2.4 GHz networks. 2.4 GHz is superior to 5 GHz at penetrating walls and providing overall Wi-Fi coverage in a home.

  • Can I have more than one Neeo Remote in my home?
    Yes, your Control4 system can support up to 30 Neeo Remotes.
  • What is the warranty for the Neeo Remote?
    2 years
  • Is the battery replaceable?
    No, the battery is built in.
  • How do I power cycle (reboot) the Neeo Remote?
    You can either:
    • Press and hold the power button until the power menu displays, then tap Restart
    • Press and hold the power button until the remote turns off, then press the power button again to turn on

  • Does the Neeo Remote support voice control?
    The Control4 system as a whole integrates with voice services from Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, which provide excellent voice control of your Control4 home. The remote itself does not have voice control feature.
  • Do I need to point the Neeo Remote at my TV to control it?
    No, the Neeo Remote wirelessly communicates with your Control4 system, so you don't need to point Neeo at a device to control it.
  • On the Neeo Remote, can I add and configure a music service using an Add Music feature like I can on my Control4 touchscreens?
    The Add Music feature is available only on the Control4 mobile app or touchscreens.

Customizing Neeo Remote FAQs

  • Can I change the Neeo Remote's screen background?
    The background is designed to be simple and unobtrusive, so changing the background is not supported.
  • How do I add or arrange my favorites on the Neeo Remote?
    Use the Control4 mobile app or a Control4 T3 or T4 Series in-wall or tabletop touchscreen to add or arrange favorites. After they are arranged, the updated favorites are automatically populated to the Neeo Remote.
  • How many favorites can I have on my Neeo Remote?
    The Neeo Remote can have up to 96 favorites per room. At 6 favorites per page, that makes 16 pages of favorites, or 17 pages with the remote-focused buttons.
  • Do dynamic icons on the Neeo Remote's room screen behave the same as on my touchscreen?

           No, the icons do not display dynamically.
