Controlling the Thermostat on Control4 OS 3
Note: Make sure you are in the Room where you want to set up climate control
Step 1: Tap the 'Comfort' icon on the Room view; this will open the 'Thermostat' screen
- On the navigation bar at the top, there are four functions:
- Temperature
- Humidity
- Schedule
- Extras
Temperature page includes:
- The temperature dial that shows the current temperature and the set temperature
- The set temperature can be changed by moving it along the dial or by using the up/down arrows
- The smaller number above and to the left of the main dial indicates the outside temperature
- The smaller number above and to the right of the main dial indicates the outside humidity
- The mode button allows us to set HVAC at Off, Cool, Heat, or both Cool/Heat using the Auto option
- The fan button allows us to control what the fan is doing. The settings are:
- On: Fan runs constantly
- Auto: Fan runs only when the heating or cooling is on
- Circulate: Fan will run intermittently between heating and cooling cycles
- The Presets button are determined energy saving heating and cooling schedules based on occupancy and time of day
- The Hold button allows the suspension of heating and cooling events
- 2 Hours: Override the schedule temporarily for two hours and then return to regular schedule
- Next Event: Overrides the schedule until the next scheduled event
- Permanent: Suspend the schedule indefinitely
- Hold Until: Allows the selection of date and time for schedule to resume

- Main dial shows humidity level in selected room

- Temperature Scale allows Fahrenheit or Celsius to be selected
